- Prior to joining Long & Foster, Bernie was a Sales Associate for Sunbelt Real Estate in Cherry Hill, NJ. He has had his Real Estate license for over 20 years, and has also excelled in the financial and accounting fields. Prior to Sunbelt, Bernie was the Chief Financial Officer (10 years) for a film and video production & post-production company located in Center City Philadelphia . He was also the Director of Finance for an internet-related startup (2 years) in Cherry Hill, NJ, and before that, was a Manager (7 years) for a regional mid-sized CPA firm located in Marlton, NJ. The skill set that Bernie has developed over his business career, i.e. negotiations, CRM, marketing, and finance, certainly provide the synergy to satisfy your real estate needs. Speaking of Black Holes...I am just now getting back to you. Well, the market here in Naples is hot, hot, hot. Yes, there are tons of people looking for "deals" which usually translates into short sales and foreclosures but I have been working hard to convince them to look beyond these distressed properties. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Actually, today I received word that my buyer's offer on a foreclosure has been accepted. This is the first time that has happened for my buyers and don't get me started about short sales. All being equal, however, my business is great as I work with both buyers and sellers, and I am really pushing my sellers to price their properties to sell NOW not like it is 2005.
My husband, Clif Citrano, use to be a manager for Prudential-Bache in Marlton. We moved to Naples 6 years ago because we were sick and tired of the cold and snow of winters and we have never looked back.
